Waldorf preschool where children get to be children.

PRESCHOOL

Our Rosebud Nursery is designed to meet the needs of the young child as they make their first venture from home to school. Rosebud Nursery is for children 2.9-4 years of age.

Because young children are open to the world and take in deeply what they hear, see and feel, our nursery provides a comforting environment full of warmth and beauty. The rhythm of the Waldorf day is calm and structured, designed to complement the pace at which young children meaningfully interact with their world. Natural fiber cloths, simple wooden toys, shells and stones, hand-made puppets, and child-sized furniture and dishes allow children to engage in imaginative activities.  The Waldorf preschool is a play-based preschool where the young child learns many things through play.  Read more about The Importance of Play in Early Childhood Education here
