In 1972 a group of parents found inspiration in the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. With determination, commitment, and passion, our small school was incarnated and built.

Through five decades, innumerable families have been moved to choose Waldorf education for their children; countless teachers have graced our campus, all investing in the vision.

We thank all of you who have built this school from a dream to the thriving school it is now.

WSMC remains committed to providing inspired independent Waldorf education to Mendocino County for another 50 years.
